Our Story: Why We Built TapToGen

The journey of TapToGen began during our university computer science days. Like millions of other students, writers, and developers, we frequently needed quick online tools — converting a text font for a social post, generating random test data for a database project, brainstorming catchy project names, or crafting clean meta tags.

However, every site we visited was broken in the same frustrating ways: intrusive popups, forced email registrations, slow server-side loading spinners, and worst of all — paywalls charging $10 to $20 per month just to use basic utilities. Many of these sites were silently uploading user input data to private servers and tracking visitors across the web.

In early 2024, Miss Kiran gathered 7 of her university friends and fellow engineers — experts in frontend engineering, natural language processing, client-side cryptography, and cloud infrastructure — with one clear objective: build the world's cleanest, fastest, and 100% free digital generator platform where all processing happens privately inside the user's browser.

Today, TapToGen hosts 430+ custom-built generator tools across 19 languages, engineered to run 100% locally in the browser without charging a single cent or saving user data.

Our team operates in an agile, remote-first software engineering laboratory with continuous integration pipelines. We maintain real hardware testing rigs including Windows workstations, Apple macOS and iOS testing devices, Android smartphones, and Linux environments to ensure all 430+ generator tools behave flawlessly across every viewport and operating system.
